Mr. Erich"Rick" K. Binner died Thursday July 12, 2018 in Summit, NJ. He was 77.
Rick was born in Brooklyn, NY|J on January 11, 1941 a son to the late Elizabeth (Eicker) and Erich F. Binner. He resided in Newark and Summit before moving to Gillette 52 years ago.
A Graduate of Summit High School Rick owned and operated Humphreys Insect Control in Stirling, NJ for 52 years.
He was a member and Past President of the NJ Pest Control Association, a member of the Jaycees of Long Hill Township, was coach for Long Hill Little League an Past President of the Pop Warner Football, was an avid Golfer and Bowler and a member of the Stirling ABA League. He was a huge sports fan rooting for the NY Yankees and for Notre Dame.
He was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul RC Church in Stirling, and Our Lady of Lords in Boca Raton, FL
Rick is survived by his Beloved Wife of 56 years Judith A. (Yannunzio) Binner, a Son Rick Binner Jr. and his wife Traci, a daughter Judy Ann Peacock, and 5 grandchildren John, Phillip, Kevin, Michael and Mia.
Visitation will be Sunday July 15, 2018 from 2 - 6 PM at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday 10:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul RC Church, Stirling. Entombment will follow at St. Teresa of Avila Mausoleum in Summit, NJ.
