Robert C. Orlando died unexpectedly Feb. 21, 2013 at his home in Glen Gardner. He was 58. Born in Summit, he was the son of Kathleen Schaan(nee Carey)and the late Samuel Orlando and.
He was employed with UPS as a long distance transportation driver. He lived in the Stirling section of Long Hill Township for most of his life. Besides being an avid Yankees fan, collector car aficionado, and baseball player/coach, his love for his family and his country was never ending.
He is survived by his mother Kathleen Schaan of Berkeley Heights, his daughter Brianna of Pennsburg, Pa, step-son Trevor Gavurnick and his sister Connie Gibbons of Naples Fla..
Bob was predeceased by his father Samuel in 1974 and his brother Patrick in 2005.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Monday Feb.25 at 10:00am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Bebout Ave. Stirling, NJ with Fr. Richard Carton officiating.

Visitation for family and friends will be at Valley Memorial 1012 Valley Rd. Gillette, NJ from 3 to 7 pm on Sunday Feb. 24.

Interment will be private.
