Obituary for Olga D Neville (Dobrowolski)
Olga D. Neville, 86, lived in the Stirling section of Long Hill Township. Prior to living in Stirling, she moved from Chatham Township to Millington in 1965.
Born November 26, 1927, she passed away peacefully following a long illness on September 14, 2014 in her home surrounded by family. In 1990 Olga served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Virginia Roanoke Mission. As a longtime resident of Long Hill Township she was involved with the Girl Scouts, PTA, a member of CERT and at one time a candidate for Township Committee. Olga was known as a worldwide traveler. She made trips to 28 countries such as China, Thailand, India, Turkey, Egypt, Israel, England and Russia and all 50 of the states.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, William H. Neville, Jr. in 1982. Survivors include her son William H Neville III and his wife Sheyrl, Alexis M. Sharp and her husband Steven, Eric Neville, Lawrence Neville and his wife Tonya. Seven grandchildren, Nichol Pellegrino and her husband Jeff, Stephanie Noel and her husband Jacob, Tanya Zenger and her husband Tim, Natalie Sharp, Lindsey Sharp, Evan Sharp and Ian Neville. Six great grandchildren, Nathan Pellegrino, Courtney Pellegrino, Callen Pellegrino, Landon Pellegrino, Daphne Zenger and Damon Sharp.
A Memorial Service will be held September 19, 2014 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 283 James Street, Morristown, NJ at 5P.M. Immediately after the service, please join the family at an Open House at the Senior Citizen Center of Long Hill Township at 796 Valley Road, Gillette, NJ from 6PM to 9PM where light refreshments will be served.
In lieu of sending flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Olga D. Neville to support research at the University of California San Diego, Moores Cancer Center. Please make checks payable to the UC San Diego Foundation, noting that the gift is in memory of Olga D. Neville.
