Condolence: Although I only knew of David through the heartbreaking story, I felt the need to let you know I pray daily for all of the people that his life touched. I know there are so many more like me that have continued to hold David, a stranger to us, and his family & friends deep inside our hearts.

Condolence: Family and Scouters: While we are relieved to have final closure, we are saddened to lose someone with such a love of life. Was it a coincidence that just over a week ago someone commented on one of the "findDavidBird" posters in our town?

I had the opportunity to work with David and his Troop Committee on several Eagle Scout Boards of Review and recall his enquiring enthusiasm for some really special Eagle Scouts.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of working with David for many years at Dow jones. David was very serious journalist with a great sense of humor. My heart aches for Nancy, Alex and Tasha.
