Elvira "Vera" Bendinelli died Tuesday June 2, 2015 at McAuley Hall Health Care Center in Watchung, NJ.  She was 96.
Vera was born in Harlem, NY a daughter to the late Anna Maria (Tozzi) and Donato Coppola, living in the Bronx before moving to Stirling in 1956.
A full time homemaker, Vera also designed and manufactured lamp shades in Stirling, NJ.
She was a member of the Long Hill Township Senior Citizens, and loved knitting for friends and family.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Samuel J. Bendinelli, and her 8 siblings. 
Vera is survived by her 2 sons Ernest and his wife Mary, and Sam and his wife Avril, a daughter Camille and her husband Ken Blume, 8 grandchildren Peter, Renee, Ryan, Kelsi, Kristen, John, Jenna and Kayla, and her  great granddaughter Ava.
Services will be Friday June 5, 2015 9:00 AM from the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul RC Church in Stirling, NJ.  Burial will follow at St. Vincent Cemetery, Stirling.  Visitation will be Thursday 4-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
