Mr. Andrew M Burns died Monday May 30, 2016 at his home in Stirling, NJ. He was 75
Andy was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on January 1, 1941, a son of the late Margaret and Michael Burns, living in Elizabeth and Roselle Park before moving to Stirling 48 years ago.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged.
Andy worked as a Crane Operator for Conrail in Newark, NJ before retiring.
He was a member of the American Legion, The Stirling Elks and enjoyed woodworking and his gardens
He was predeceased by his wife Judith (Hartmann) Burns in 2010.
Andrew is survived by two daughters, Kelly Burns and Shannon Burns, two sisters, Margaret Hester and Judie Bailey, a brother, Michael Burns and 5 grandchildren Katie, Andrew, Montana, Cheyenne and Thomas.
Services will be from the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 6th, with Rev. Victoria McGrath officiating.
