Phyllis Juliano died Sunday June 12, 2016 at Runnells Rehabilitation and Health Care in Berkeley Heights, NJ, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was 84
Phyllis was born in Newark, NJ on March 15, 1932. She was a daughter to the late Frances and Joseph Ricci. She lived in Maplewood and Union before moving to Long Hill Township in 1953.
Phyllis was a graduate of Columbia High School in Maplewood, NJ.
She worked in Food Service at Aramac, a division of Dunn and Bradstreet in Murray Hill, NJ for 25 years before retiring in 2002.
She was a very active parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul RC Church in Stirling, where she was a member of the Rosary Alter Guild, worked @ Bingo games, and helped where she could at the school while her children attended. She loved her gardens, and was a fabulous cook.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Anthony in 2007, her daughter Francine Grocki in 2007, and her grandson John in 1987.
She is survived by her daughters Kathleen and her husband Jack Dede, her son Anthony Juliano and his wife Orysia ,her son-in-law Robert Grocki, 7 grandchildren, Joanne, Michele, Robert, Jennifer, Nicholas, Larissa and Vincent, and 6 great grandchildren Joseph,James, Sofia, Leah, Francesca and Paige
Visitation will be Wednesday June 15, 2016 from 3-8 pm at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday June 16, 2016 at St. Vincent de Paul RC Church in Stirling, NJ at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.
