Obituary for Anthony F Rinaldi

Anthony Frank, Rinaldi, 73, was called home on Sept. 14, leaving behind a legacy of love of family and nature.
Sadly, he was robbed of his beloved outdoors by ALS. And avid hunter and fisherman, he traversed Canada, Brazil and his home country enjoying every minute of his time outdoors. In his later years, Tony became interested in wood and metalworking, carefully crafting turkey calls that were sought after by hunters all over the US. He also crafted metal decorative woodland animals.
He enjoyed the simple things like luring migrating birds to his backyard feeder and his beagles.
For 38 years he assisted many people at EJ Auto Body in Chatham. Upon retirement he became a driving instructor for Don-Tre Driving School.
When not outdoors or working at his many hobbies, he rooted for the New York Yankees and the New York Jets.
He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Diane and children Michelle Rinaldi Ortega, Charles Rinaldi and Danielle Rinaldi. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren Victoria Ortega and Mayson Messuti. He leaves behind one sister, Angela (Theodore) Rica, sister-in-law Denise Corbitt-Coppola, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Atlantic Home Care and Hospice 465 South Street, Morristown, NJ, 07960.
