Susie Matinho died Saturday at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan, NY. She was 51.
Susie was born in Newark, NJ on June 10, 1966, a daughter of Maria L (Conceicao) and Julio S. Matinho where she lived moving to Portugal for four years, moving back to the United States and residing in Watchung, NJ before moving to Warren 17 years ago.
While living in Portugal she attended and was a graduate of AISL International High School, and later attended classes at Union Community College in the States.
She was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul RC Church in Stirling, NJ.
She worked as a Supervisor in the Underwriting Division for National General Management Corporation in Saddle Brook NJ.
Susie is survived by her parents Maria L (Conceicao) and Julio S. Matinho, two sons Manuel M. Marques and Christopher F.M. Susoglu, a sister, Diane Matinho Michaelson, a brother Nelson C. Matinho and 2 grandchildren Marissa and Samantha.
Visitation will be Tuesday December 12, 2107 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at St. Vincent de Paul RC Church 250 Bebout Ave., Stirling, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday December 13, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Church. Burial will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Stirling.
