Dan S. Megaro, Jr. died Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ with his family by his side. He was 38.
Dan was born in Summit NJ on July 25, 1979 a son to Brenda (Wright) and Dan S. Megaro, Sr., and was a life long resident of Stirling, NJ.
Dan was an avid sports fan with a love for the Rangers, Giants, Yankees and Kansas University Basketball. He enjoyed music and fishing, and won numerous gold medals in the CSH Wheelchair Sports He was a graduate of Watchung Hills Regional High School and attended classes at Chubb Institute of Technology. He later worked for Chubb Insurance for many years.
He was predeceased by his mother Brenda (Wright) Megaro in 1990.
Dan is survived by his father Dan S. Megaro Sr., his brother Shane Matthew and his wife Kaely, a sister Michelle Lynn, his beloved nieces, his Goddaughter Lyla, and Noria, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday 10:00 AM at St. Mary Stony Hill RC Curch in Watchung, NJ. Committal will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park.
