Obituary for Wayne Roger Dundon

Wayne Roger  Dundon
Wayne R. Dundon died Tuesday March 27, 2018 at Morristown Memorial Cardiac Center in Morristown, NJ. He was 70.
Wayne was born in Summit, NJ a son to the late Dorothy G. (Rudow) and Christopher T. Dundon living in Chatham before moving to Millington over 65 years ago.
He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion in Stirling, NJ
Wayne worked as an Engineer with Linde Gases North America in Murray Hill, NJ for over 30 years and was currently employed.
An avid outdoorsman he was a the Jack of all trades, with talents in carpentry and could fix just about anything. He loved to work with his tools. He was a car enthusiast and loved classic cars.
He was pre deceased by his parents, and his older brother Christopher Michael Dundon and younger brother Gary Patrick Dundon.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 42 years Virginia (nee: Wicker) Dundon, numerous brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his dear friend and neighbor Carl Farinhas, his "adopted" son.
Memorial Visitation will be Monday April 2, 2018 from 4-7 PM at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 PM. Cremation was private. Memorial Contributions may be made to Vietnam Veterans of America at viva.org, or the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
