Barbara Froncek (Nowlis) died Monday April 2, 2018 at her home in Millington, NJ. She was 83.
Barbara was born in Wilkes Barre PA, a daughter to the late Cecelia (Zurinski) and Albert Nowalis where she lived moving to Fanwood and North Plainfield before moving to Millington in 1963.
She was a Registered Nurse graduating from Mercy Hospital in Wilkes Barre, PA and began her career at The VA Hospital in the Bronx NY. She then worked at the VA in Lyons, NJ for over 38 years retiring in 1994.
She was a parishioner of St. James RC Church in Basking Ridge, NJ, a member of the Red Hat Society and was a CCD Teacher at St. Vincent de Paul RC Church in Stirling for over 12 years.
Barbara was pre deceased by her husband Joseph R. Frncek in 2013, and her daughter in law Lisa Bosenhard Froncek
She is survived by her 2 sons Michael Froncek, and Mark Froncek and his wife Beth, and a brother Albert Nowlis.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on April 6, 2018 at 10 AM at St. James RC Church in Basking Ridge, NJ. Interment of cremains will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Basking Ridge. Cremation was private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Long Hill Township First Aid Squad.
