Vincent J Galasso died April 26, 2018 at his home in Stirling, NJ. He was 66.
Vincent was born in Manhattan, New York on February 7, 1952, a son of the late Mary (Meglino) and Charles Galasso. He lived in Tobyhanna, PA and Paterson, NJ before moving to Stirling in 1997.
He was a graduate of William Paterson University with a BA in Business, class of 1973.
He began working as a shoe salesman at Shoetown in Gillette, NJ and has worked at Mastro Shoes in Bernardsville, NJ for the last 15 years
Vincent loved to work in his yard, and was an avid football fan cheering his favorite team the NY GIANTS.
He is survived by his wife Jacqueline Nugent Galasso of 26 years, and his daughter Catherine. He is also survived by his brother Joseph Galasso.
Visitation will be Sunday April 29, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday 10:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul RC Church 250 Bebout Ave., Stirling, NJ. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Stirling Fire Company 321 Somerset St. Stirling, NJ 07980.
