Barbara Rose Heppes died Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in Berkeley Heights, NJ. She was 101.
Barbara was born in Brooklyn, NY, living in Greenwich Village and Morristown, NJ before moving to Basking Ridge in 2000.
She graduated from Textile High School in Manhattan, NY, and worked for the State of New Jersey, Workmans Comp Division in Morristown, NJ for 20 years before retiring in 1979.
Barbara was a communicant of St. James RC Church in Basking Ridge and was a member of their Women's Club.
She was pre deceased by her husband John "Jack" Heppes in 2002, and 10 siblings.
Barbara is survived by her son John P. and his wife Laurie, a daughter Stacey and her husband Scott Winans, and 5 grandchildren John IV, Donald, Kelly, Erin and John Connor.
A Graveside Service will be Thursday 9:45 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery Mount Airy Rd., Basking Ridge, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette. For information and online condolences visit valleymemorialfuneralhome.net.
