Condolence: He seemed like a nice man, wish him the best wherever he is, and I hope he can´t see what his son, Nicholas James Stevens, is doing on Earth, because he would probably be ashamed if he got to know that his son stole 1.6 million dollars by making an online scam project called Moody Krows and then lied to the community about having a heart surgery before fully disappering with the money.

Condolence: I just learned of Nick’s passing and wanted to share my deepest condolences to the Stevens family. I worked for the American Diabetes Association for many years, and Nick was one of our most dedicated Tour de Cure participants. He was passionate about cycling and used his love of the sport to raise awareness and funds for multiple non profit organizations. We were extremely grateful to Nick for his generosity and support of the ADA mission. And I was personally grateful to meet a kind and genuine person who took the time to get to know those around him. This is such a heartbreaking loss. Praying the family finds comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Condolence: My most heartfelt condolences to Kelly, Nicholas and Hannah at your profound loss. Nick was an amazing guy. I became friends with him in the early 2000's when we'd watch our kids do various sports at the old YMCA in Basking Ridge. Over the years, as our friendship developed, I got to witness first-hand his gentle spirit, great sense of humor, and unflinching willingness to help on any matter. He was one of the finest people I've ever met. I'll miss him.

Condolence: Our most heartfelt condolences to the Stevens family. We have been lucky to know the Stevens since our daughters became fast friends when they were little. It would not be surprising to anyone to know how warmly they welcomed us into their lives and how fun it has been to raise our daughters alongside each other. Since Nick enlisted Chris to play bass, many wonderful years of sharing music, food, drink, and endless laughter ensued.
When I lost my parents, Nick and Kelly embraced us even more, and we have all come to view them as surrogate family. All of us who knew Nick know how truly extraordinary, yet humble, he was. There are many accomplished people in the world, but even Nick's dizzying accomplishments are overwhelmed by his tremendous heart and passion.
He will be so very missed, but his large presence, love, and genuine connections will continue to inspire the many, many people he has touched in his too short life.

Condolence: Nick was a friend but also a teacher to those around him. He taught us how to extract and experience that extra joy from simple pleasures. The joy of a good meal, the beauty and commroderie of a day on the bicycle, the value of close friendships and family, and the ability to listen to and play music not just from our hands and ears... but from our hearts. We were blessed beyond words, to have Nick in our lives. He made them rich, and leaves us with the lesson to carry that onward.

Condolence: A part of Nick lives in all of us who knew him. He gave so much of himself to everyone around him. While our loss is immense, so are the memories and feelings he left with us. A finer man there never was. We know he carries on with his mission wherever he is.

Condolence: Nick would come to my family's house once a year with his family and several other families that went to Duke with my father. We spent one weekend a year together for as many years as I can remember. Nick's love for his friends and their families was evident every time he came to our house. He filled our house with laughter and joy, and his outgoing care for others could not be mistaken. I enjoyed getting to know Nick as a friend more and more each year. I was very saddened to hear of his passing. I extend my condolences to Kelly, Nick, and Hannah.

Condolence: Nick was our friend, our soul-mate. We shared our passions with him, whether it was cycling, wine, food or music. He extracted everything out of life and shared his love unconditionally with those around him. He gave and gave. He is the finest human soul we've known and we are blessed to have been a part of his life.
