Randy will forever be in our hearts. His presence at Overlook Hospital when my husband was on life support was a beautiful reminder that Jehovah’s people are never alone. His was the first face I saw. His voice and words comforted me tremendously. It was my first experience with HLC, which proves to be a beautiful provision from Jehovah. May Randy’s family find comfort in knowing that he left an indelible mark in our hearts. Thank you for sharing this special man with us. John and family,
We were so sorry to hear the news about Randy. Please accept our deepest condolences. One particular memory of Randy continues to be retold within our family. It was the time John and Randy went door-to-door selling boxes of candy for charity. When they returned to our house to deliver our box, they were greeted by our German shepherd, Dawn. They ended up feeding all the candy in the box to Dawn to keep her away from them. They were so apologetic when they explained what happened to my mother. We were obviously mortified!
Hope that brief (now humorous) childhood memory and the countless good times that followed provide some comfort during this difficult time.
With deepest sympathy,
Mike Higgins and family
