Zulmira J. (Caneira) Antao died Friday October 11, 2019 at JFK Hartwick at Edison Estates. She was 65. Zulmira was born on January 2, 1954 in Figueira da Foz, Portugal, a daughter to Maria Alice Caneira and the late Jose Caneira, immigrated to New Jersey living in Elizabeth until moving to warren in 1986 along with her husband Manual Antao. She worked as a Unit Secretary for Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ for 25 years before retiring in 2015. She was a communicant of the Shrine of St. Joseph in Stirling, NJ. She is survived by her mother Maria Alice Caneira, her brother Jose Caneira and his wife Tracy, her son Anthony Albuquerque, two daughters Nicole and her husband Craig Wells, and Michelle Antao, Manuel Antao, and her granddaughter Camryn Albuquerque.
Visitation will be Thursday October 17,2019 from 4-7pm at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Road, Gillette, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday October 18, 2019 at 9:00 am at the Shrine of St. Joseph 1050 Long Hill Road, Stirling, NJ. Burial will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Stirling, NJ.
