Milan "Mel" E. Sivak died Sunday, November 3, 2019 at his home in Warren, NJ. He was 83. Mel was born in Newark, NJ on January 29, 1936 a son to the late Anna (Ceresna) and Stephen Sivak, living in Hillside, NJ and Hillsborough, NJ before moving to Warren in 1976. He was a graduate of Hillside High School and worked as an A & P warehouse manager in Garfield, NJ until retirement. He was a Freemason. Mel was a Life Scout and attended the Valley Forge National Jamboree in 1950. He had a fabulous singing voice and participated in Karaoke Clubs. He was especially fond of country music and Johnny Cash.

He was pre-deceased by his parents Anna (Ceresna) and Stephen Sivak, a brother Stephen Sivak and a son Mark M. Sivak. Milan is survived by his former wife Anna (Shpunder) Sivak of 50 years, 3 sons Steven J. Sivak, John E. Sivak and his wife Kristen C. and Edward W. Sivak and his grandchildren Rebecca Anne, Kristina, John Alex and Jon Luke.

Visitation will be Friday November 8, 2019 from 9 - 10:30 am at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Service at the Funeral Home.
