Obituary for George Dennis "Denny" Grimler

George Dennis "Denny" Grimler of Stirling died Sunday, December 29, 2019. He was 75.
Denny was born in Summit and was a lifelong resident of Stirling, NJ.
He was graduate of Watchung Hills Regional High School in 1962 and entered the service as a Marine for the United States where he served from 1962 - 1964.
He worked as a self employed contractor: GD Grimler Construction for MOAT Construction in Annandale, NJ and Arthur Brown Construction in Meyersville, NJ before retiring in 2005.
Denny was a member of the American Legion and served as Commander of the Stirling and Warren Posts. He also served as Exalted Ruler of the Stirling Elks, Lodge 2392, for many years. He was also a member of the Stirling Fire Company #1 in Stirling, NJ
Denny met his wife Rita in High School and were reunited later in life. The were married on May 18th 1991. Rita passed away on August 8th 2014

Visitation will be Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 12:00 - 3:00 PM at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Road., Gillette, NJ. Cremation is private.
