Ruth C. (Callahan) Ketterer passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020 at the Brandywine Senior Living in Watchung, NJ at the age of 99.
Ruth was born in Beacon, NY on September 12, 1920, a daughter of the late Florence L. (Boyce) and Floyd Callahan where she grew up. She lived in Glen Ridge, NJ and Spring Lake, NJ before moving to Watchung in 2012.
She was a graduate of Beacon High School then studied art in New York City. Many years later she studied art in New York City and many years later taught wounded veterans art.
She was predeceased by her husband Verne Martin Ketterer in 1999.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Nancy and her husband Harold Swann, and a son Robert Ketterer and his wife Kathleen. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren
