Marissa Eve Jankow,
July 24, 1997- February 25, 2020
Marissa was raised in New Providence, NJ.
She was a graduate of New Providence High School, class of 2015, where she participated in basketball, soccer and track. She completed cosmetology school at Robert Fiance Beauty School in North Plainfield.
She was pre-deceased by her grandfather Glenn Grieco in 2019.
Marissa is survived by her parents Maria (Grieco) Jankow and Matthew Jankow, her brothers Justin and Jacob and her sister Sophia. Beloved granddaughter of Carmel Grieco, Ilona and Robert Jankow She was also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Marissa will be remembered for her infectious personality, beauty, sense of humor, strong will, loyalty, kindness, acceptance, intelligence. She was a wonderful sister and daughter. She loved her family so much. She was fun, spontaneous, impulsive at times. She loved to play sports. She was competitive but a team player. She was unselfish. She would give anything to anyone who needed it. She loved to shop. She loved hair and makeup. She was so loved.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 1, 2020- from 1-3pm and 6-8 pm at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, March 2, 2020 10 am. at St. Vincent de Paul RC Church, Bebout Ave., Stirling, NJ. Interment will follow at Clove Cemetery in Sussex, NJ. A repast to follow at The George Inn Restaurant. 84 State Rt 94 Vernon, NJ.
