Joanne V. Herbert died accidentally on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 in Bridgewater, NJ. She was 68.
Joanne was born in Orange, NJ on April 2, 1951, daughter of the late Katherine (Belcastro) and Larry Raschella. Joanne lived in Summit, NJ and Murray Hill, NJ before moving to Bridgewater in 1986.
She graduated from Summit High School in 1969 and worked as a bookkeeper for Vista Travel in Colonia, NJ for the last 14 years. She was a dedicated mother and loving wife, devoted to her family. She enjoyed traveling, appreciated a well-read audiobook, and actively supported liberal causes.
Joanne is survived by her husband Donald W. Herbert, Jr., her son Donald W. Herbert III, a daughter Danielle Herbert, two sisters Carmela and her husband Thomas Yauch, and Rosalie Raschella. She is also survived by a number of loving nieces and nephews. Her loss is immeasurable to her family.
