To Everyone:

First, I want to say how much I appreciate Karen’s support through the past week. Without her in my life, our lives, we would not have had such a beautiful arrangement for my mother. I also can’t imagine my life during the past week without my two beautiful daughters, Carissa and Breanne, and my stepson Michael. They all provided me with the support, guidance and the strength to handle a difficult time.

My sincerest appreciation and thanks also go out to everyone who sent their supportive and caring messages, called me to chat, posted wonderful memories and pictures of my mom, brought us gifts and food, and took the time to join us for my Mom’s virtual wake. It’s those little things that made the past several days a little easier and will surely allow our family to heal and become stronger in the days that lie ahead.

Over the past several months I know others have also had family members who were ill and passed into God’s Kingdom, and we all have at one time or another felt that emptiness that losing someone brings to our hearts. Over the years I have held onto this thought which I would like to share and hope that it helps us who have lost loved ones.

“sorrow comes to all…..perfect relief is not possible except with time. You cannot now realize that you will ever feel better, and yet, you are sure to be happy again” Abraham Lincoln

Thank you,

Dan

We are so sorry to here about Anne. Larry and I always enjoyed seeing here in NJ during our visits. We especially enjoyed talking with here about how much she enjoyed reading her cookbooks. She was such a delight to be around. Sending lots of love and condolences. Kim, Larry, and Finn

Nana I will always love you! You were the most caring and generous grandmother anyone could have asked for, and although I miss you greatly, I still feel your presence with me. I am blessed to have inherited some of your wisdom, beauty, kindness and grace. Spending so much of my childhood with you really helped shape me into who I am today. I never felt alone, in fact, being with you always felt like being in the presence of a benevolent spirit or watchful angel. I know you will continue to watch over me as I continue on this journey. -Breanne

Danny and family, I am so very to hear about Aunt Anne. I have such wonderful memories of us all gathered around Grandma's kitchen table in union. Aunt Anne gave the best hugs! I know you will all miss her here but I am happy to know she and uncle Danny are together again. Lots of love and prayers from Maryland. Susan

Anne always had something sweet to say about others. As soon as you would see her she would be asking about your children. She would always say how wonderful they were and her fond memories of them. I also remember one of her favorite dishes on Thanksgiving was her corn casserole. Rest In Peace Anne heaven has an another angel.
