Daniel Patrick O’Leary was one of those rare and noble people who selflessly gave more to others than he ever took back. He was not a man of words but of action. He faithfully demonstrated his love and compassion through acts of kindness. He was devoted to his family, friends, and all the animals, especially Cassie. He never complained about the burdens or hardships of life. Instead, he was diligent and kept watch over the neighborhood. You could count on him always. He was a genuine boy from the Bronx who never forgot where he came from. He loved the Grand Concourse, Arthur Avenue, and his days as a student at Cardinal Hayes High School. He was a loyal friend and will never be forgotten. The words left here could never capture how dearly loved he is and will remain.

I am the resurrection and the life, saith the Lord; he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live; and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. John 11:25-26

Is mise an aiséirí agus an bheatha, a deir an Tiarna; an té a chreideann ionamsa, cé go raibh sé marbh, beidh sé beo fós; agus gach duine a chónaíonn agus a chreideann ionam, ní bhfaighidh sé bás go deo. Eoin 11: 25-26
