Rita Catherine (Hannett) Fox died Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, NJ. She was 81.
Rita was born in Queens, NY on December 18, 1938, a daughter to the late Rita and Raymond Hannett, living in Mountainside and New Providence before moving to Warren in 1984.
She loved painting and making figurine sculptures, was a den mother for Troop 666 in New Providence and was a communicant of Our Lady of the Mount in Warren, NJ.
Rita is survived by her 2 sons Brian S. and his wife Jennifer, and Greg G and his wife Tracy. She had 4 grandchildren, Meghan, Audrey, Amanda and Benjamin.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 6-8 PM at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, November 13, 2020 at 11am at Our Lady of the Mount 167 Mt Bethel Rd, Warren, NJ 07059. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains, NJ.
