Obituary for Olivia Marie Fargiano

A beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Olivia Marie Fargiano left this world unexpectedly, at 20, on Nov. 7, 2020. Born in Las Vegas, NV. On Nov. 9, 1999 a daughter to Paul and Joanne (Bruno) Fargiano, Olivia was a lifelong resident of New Providence, NJ. She attended Mount St. Mary’s Academy and was attending classes at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA.
Olivia was a lover of the arts and theater and was a talented artist who loved to paint, draw, sing and write. She was an active participant in several high school theater productions and active member of the Mount St. Mary’s choir.
Olivia always looked forward to vacationing at her two favorite places – Disney World and Ocean City, NJ. The thrill and excitement of riding Disney’s Expedition Everest or the Tidal Wave at the boardwalk in Ocean City always brought such joy and happiness. She was such a thrill seeker.
She was funny, outgoing and vivacious, but she was also introverted and introspective. She was a symbol of power, beauty and grace who was fiercely loyal to her friends and family. We will always remember her infectious smile, piercing green eyes and caring personality. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed.
When you think of Olivia, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
Her grandfather Paul J. Fargiano preceded Olivia in death. She leaves behind her parents, brother Gerard; grandparents, Marie and Victor Bruno and Marie Fargiano; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 15, 2020 from 1-4 PM at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday November 16, 2020 at 10:30 AM from St. Vincent de Paul RC Church, Bebout Ave, Stirling, NJ with Fr. Richard Carton officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation be made in Olivia’s name to the Mount St. Mary’s Academy - 1645 Route 22 West at Terrill Road, Watchung, NJ 07069
