Obituary for Robert Alan McLeod
Robert Alan McLeod, of Jackson, passed away surrounded by his loving family on November 29, 2020 he was 67. He was born on
May 10th 1953 to Ramon and Philomena (Phyllis) McLeod, the second of three children. Born in Newark, he grew up in Belleville, NJ and lived in Cranford, Mountainside, Randolph & Mendham before recently moving to Jackson, NJ.
Bob is predeceased by his mother Phyllis. He is survived by his father Ramon McLeod, his children, Robert James McLeod and his wife Jessica, and Katie McLeod, his brother Ramon Jr., his wife Patricia, his sister Karen McLeod, his nieces Lauren Taylor, Julie and Jennifer Buonaguro, nephews Graham and Everett McLeod, two great nephews Jackson Taylor & Henry McLeod, lastly his grandpets Coco, Wilson, Lucy, Reggie & Kilroy.
Bob worked as a financial advisor for over 30 years, working alongside his father before moving to Wachovia. Bob loved music, especially the Eagles and the band Little Feat. As an avid sports fan, Bob rooted for the New York Yankees and the New York Rangers; He also enjoyed playing fantasy baseball.
Family and Friends are invited to visit from 11AM-1PM on Saturday Dec 5th at the Valley Memorial Home, 1012 Valley Road, Gillette, NJ, a prayer service will follow at 1PM.
In Lieu of flowers, the family has asked a donation be made in Bob’s name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society www.nationalmssociety.org
