Obituary for Marshall DeCristofaro Sr.

Marshall L DeCristofaro, 99, of Berkeley Heights, passed away on December 17.

Born in Scotch Plains, NJ, He also lived in Summit & Vineland, NJ. Marshall worked his whole life as a Tailor, working at MacGregor Sportswear Factory in Summit,, Bloomingdales in Short Hills, and part time at Adams in New Providence, before retiring 27 years ago. He enjoyed reading the Bible, vegetable gardening, annually jarring hot cherry peppers, and going to the beaches in New Jersey & Florida with his family. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and a Minister at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Gillette.

Son of the late Louis & Maryanne (Capella) DeCristofaro, he is survived by his wife of 73 years, Ann Marie (Episcopo) DeCristofaro, his son Marshall Jr. and his wife Anne, his daughter Felicia Carter, a brother Bernard, a sister Lena Ponturo, his grandchildren, Matthew and his wife Melissa, Jonathan and his wife Kimberly, Melissa Arcudi and husband Vincent, Jennifer Monte and husband Timothy, Jessica Spann and husband Roderick, and his great-grandchildren Kyle, Marc, Nikki, Lia, & Luca. He is predeceased by daughter Patricia Ann, and his son in-law Randall J. Carter.
