Obituary for Anita T Chiappa (Byelick)
Anita T. (Byelick) Chiappa died Saturday January 2, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center Somerset in Somerville, NJ. She was 90.
Anita was born in Morristown, NJ on June 7, 1930 a daughter to the late Helen Czarevich and Steven Byelick and granddaughter to Theresa Boscar and Emil Czarevich. She was pre-deceased by her 2 brothers George and John Byelick and survived by 3 brothers Steven, James and Joseph Byelick.
She was also predeceased by her husband of 69 years John J. Chiappa who died in December of 2018. She and her husband were lifelong residents of Stirling, NJ, she was a member of the Woman's Auxiliary of the Stirling American Legion, loved to play bingo and loved to watch her birds.
Anita is survived by 5 children her son John and his wife Stephanie of Flemington, her daughter Linda and her husband Ivan Hache of Readington,NJ her daughter Patti and her husband Mark Zaifman of Windsor, CA, her son Bill and his wife Nancy of Terrebonne, OR and her daughter Lori and her husband Alex Rohrs of Montclair, NJ. Her 5 grandchildren Stephanie Chiappa Papanestor, Michael Hache, Renee Stewart, Steven Chiappa, Benjamin Rohrs and 5 great grandchildren Caitlyn, Aida, Fiona, Vinnie and Kaitlyn, and several nieces and nephews. Services were private and under the direction of the Valley Memorial Funeral Home, Gillette, NJ Burial of cremains will be Saturday January 9, 2021 at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery Chestnut St. Stirling at 12 PM. Memorial Contributions may be made in Lieu of flowers to the National Kidney Foundation or the National Audubon Society.
