Joyce B. Millhagen died Thursday, December 31, 2020 in Liberty Corner, NJ. She was 93.
Joyce was born in Jamaica, Queen, NY a daughter to the late Luise E. (Buck) and Julius F. Millhagen, living in Long Island and Basking Ridge since 1969.
She received her BA and her Masters from Adelphi University in 1956 and became a school teacher. She worked at Nassau Christian School in Long Island, Our Redeemer Lutheran School, Long Island, NY where she served as Principle and taught at Bernards Township School System before retiring in 1994.
Joyce was a long time member of Somerset Hills Lutheran Church where she served as President of the Elder Congregation, a member of the Alter Guild, lead Bible Study Group, was a member of the Choir and was head of Missions.
Joyce is survived by many relatives and friends,
A Memorial Service will be held at Somerset Hills Lutheran Church, Basking Ridge, NJ on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 10 AM.
