Obituary for Frank E Husek
Frank E. Husek passed away with his loving daughters by his side on January 23rd, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 62
Frank was born on August 7, 1958 in Elmhurst, Illinois, a son to the late Phebe (Ernst) and Frank A. Husek. He moved to Summit at the age of 2 becoming a lifelong resident.
He was a graduate of Summit High School and received a BA in Accounting from Rutgers University.
Frank began his career as a stock broker and through his hard work and determination started his own brokerage firm, Corporate Securities Group in Summit NJ. He started a successful business 23 years ago, AA Petsitters where he cared for numerous pets and created lifelong bonds with not only the pets but with the families.
He was a great basketball player in his youth in both high school and college as well as in his later years. As a result of many trips growing up, his favorite place to go was Pigeon Creek and Mountain Home Arkansas to fish in the many lakes and streams. This was his happy place. But most of all, he was a friend to all. "Life was good" as he enjoyed nothing more than chatting and having a good cup of coffee with his family and friends.
Frank is survived by his 2 daughters Hanna and Lily, his brother Peter Husek and his wife Cathy, his sisters Jane Husek and Sue and her husband Al Wiedenfeld and many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply Missed.
A Private Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Christ the King RC Church 16 Blue Mill Road, New Vernon, NJ. with Fr. Brian Sullivan Officiating. All are welcome to the interment of cremains at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge, NJ after the private service approximately at 12:15. In lieu of flower please made a donation to
