She married the late Emilio Dell’Osso in 1956 and had three beautiful daughters with whom she created the most memorable memories with her family and friends in Brooklyn. Irene welcomed everyone into her home with open arms and became the neighborhood “mom” to so many people. She loved to cook and always had a table full of food just in case someone might stop by. Irene never went a day without singing and dancing all around her house. She was not only a loving wife and mother, but also a loving sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She was the type of woman who always put her family before everything. Irene’s sense of humor and larger than life personality will never be forgotten and her memories will be carried on by those she loved and whom loved her in return unconditionally.
Irene was predeceased by her mother Lucille, father Edward, step-father Albert, her sister Joan, and her brother Edward. Irene is survived by her two sisters, Marie and Christine, her daughters Graceann and husband John, Irene and husband John, and Mia and husband Anthony. She is also survived by her grandchildren, John, Ashley, Kristen, Alexandra, Matthew, Luca, Mica and Mia and two great grandchildren, Ruby and Goldie.
