Obituary for Barbara Falzarano (Zembko)
Barbara (Zembko) Falzarano died Tuesday February 22, 2022 at her home in Basking Ridge, NJ. She was 98 years old.
Barbara was born in Summit, NJ on October 22, 1923, a daughter to the late Margaret (Dante) and Alexander Zembko where she lived, moving to Stirling, NJ with her husband before living in Basking Ridge since 2015.
She was a graduate from Summit High School, and worked as a Senior Advisor in Business for Ciba Geiger in Summit, NJ for many years before retiring.
Barbara loved to travel, especially to Europe, was an avid reader and loved to play Pinochle. She was very faithful, and was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul RC Church. She would also go to the Shrine of St. Joseph to pray.
She was pre-deceased by her husband John Falzarano who died May 1, 1998.
Barbara is survived by her cherished nieces Jean, Joan and Patricia, her grand niece and nephew Alexis and Christopher and adored her great grandnieces and nephews, Lauren, Kaitlyn, Henry and Frederick.
A Brief visitation will be Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 10:00 AM followed by prayers at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ. A Graveside Service will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Short Hills, NJ.
