Obituary for Yvonne G Fletcher (Galbraith)
Yvonne G. Fletcher nee: Galbraith died Monday, September 19, 2022 at her home in Stirling, NJ. She was 85.
Yvonne was born in Elizabeth, NJ, daughter to the late Helen (Hutton) and Hugh Galbraith.
Yvonne and husband Art settled in Stirling in 1966 and raised their family there. She attended nursing school and was a homemaker and caregiver for loved ones: raising 4 children and grandchildren, and caregiving for her parents and her mother-in-law at end of life. She was a long-time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Stirling and served as an Elder, along with supporting many mission and service projects through the years. Yvonne had a lifelong passion for music and gardening, and her grandchildren were her joy.
She is survived by her husband Arthur Fletcher, her two sons, Arthur Fletcher and his wife Lynn, Eric Fletcher and his wife Andrea, 2 daughters Lorna Fletcher and her husband Robert Zylowski and Jennifer Fletcher and her husband Bill Schwager, 5 grandchildren: Emmy and her husband Hector, Zoe, Max, Arthur and Daniel, and her great-grandson Charlie.
