Obituary for Robert G Pepe
Robert G. Pepe died suddenly on February 4, 2023 at his home in Stirling, NJ. He was only 68 years old.
Bob was born in Morristown, NJ a son to Martha (Daughtry) and the late Alphonse L. Pepe who died in 2000. He was a life long resident of Stirling, NJ.
Bob graduated from Watchung Hills Regional High School class of 1972 and received his Associates Degree from Morris County Community College.
He was the owner and operator of Al Pepe and Sons, Inc. as an electrical contractor for over 50 years. He was a member of the Morris County Electrical Association. Bob loved Bowling and was in a league. He was a Boy Scout for Troop 59, coached little league, was commissioner of the Men's Fast Pitch League of Passaic Township, served on the Township Recreation Committee, enjoyed hunting and trips to Atlantic City. Most of all he enjoyed spending time at the beach in his home at Point Pleasant Beach, NJ.
Bob was pre-deceased by his wife Cynthia (Durst) Pepe in 2019, and his father Alphonse Pepe in 2000.
He is survived by his two sons, Matthew Pepe and Mark Pepe, his mother Martha L. Pepe, his 2 brothers Louis A. Pepe and his wife Colleen, and Albert W. Pepe and his wife Denise, and his sister Susan M. daCosta and her husband Kevin and his companion Helen Wilder. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews cousins and friends. Bob was a true gentleman and adored by all that knew him.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 4-8 PM at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ. A Service will be celebrated at 6:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Fr. Richard Carton Officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stirling Volunteer Fire Company #1 PO Box 123, Stirling, NJ 07980.
