Obituary for Irma Forst (Lievenbruck)
Irma Forst, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went home to be with Jesus on February 16, 2023 at the age of 91.
Irma was born on September 21, 1931 in Newark, NJ to parents John Lievenbruck and Sophia Elizabeth (Heiss). She married Arthur Forst in May, 1953 and together they had 6 children; Jeanmarie (Alan) Kline, Suzanne Bocage, Robert Joseph (Lisa), Janet Elizabeth (Bruce) Jones, Marion Terese (Bob Palsgrove) and Elaine Patricia.
Irma’s family and faith wer her primary focus during her life. She raised her family in Berkeley Heights, NJ in the house that her husband built. She was predeceased by her youngest daughter, Elaine, in 1983, her loving husband, Arthur and her beloved sister, Elizabeth (Bette) in 2016. After the death of Arthur, she moved to Chelsea Senior Living in Warren, NJ.
Irma is survived by sisters, Marion Cronheim and Joan Fink, her 5 children, 15 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
Irma’s wisdom and godly counsel will be missed by her family and friends.
