Ruth V. (Buehrman) McMane died Wednesday, March 29, 2023 in Livingston, NJ. She was 91.
Ruth was born in Summit, NJ on October 25, 1931 a daughter to the late Anna (Coddington) and Woodruff Buehrman where she lived until moving to Gillette, NJ 83 years ago.
Ruth worked as a school bus driver for Dealmann Enterprise for many years before retiring.
She was a life member of the Union Village United Methodist Church in Berkeley Heights, NJ and the longest member. She delivered flowers every Sunday to sick Church members and taught Sunday School for many years. She was also a member of the Long Hill township Senior Citizens group and loved to Quilt and shop at flee markets for antiques. She was an avid solver of puzzles and word search.
She was pre deceased by her husband Richard McMane in 2017
Ruth is survived by her son Michael S. McMane and his wife Michele, a daughter Nancy Frank and her husband Greg Frank, a sister-in-law Ruth King, and 5 grandchildren Brian Helm, Jeremy Helm, Michael Boyle, Morgan Phelps and Andrew McMane, She is also survived by her great grandchildren Nolan, Zander, Gabby, Harper and Logan Helm.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Union Village United Methodist Church, 1130 Mountain Ave., Berkeley Heights, NJ.
