Obituary for Jessica Marie Gaeta
Jessica Marie Gaeta died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 22, 2023 in Gillette, NJ. She was 27.
Jessica was born in Livingston, NJ on May 31, 1996 a daughter to Elaine Rochelle (Snyder) and Frederick Gaeta and she lived in Gillette, NJ.
She was a graduate of Watchung Hills Regional High School, attended James Madison University , with a semester at the University of Antwerp Belgium and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Accounting from Seton Hall University. She was a member of the International Honor Society for Accounting, Beta Alpha Psi where she served as the treasurer.
Jessica loved animals. She had two rescue cats, Charlie and Raelynn. Her furry companion, Maddie Belle brought her a childhood of cuddles. She leaves behind her newest buddy Piper.
Jessica was a lifetime athlete who excelled in high school softball and basketball. She loved to travel and visited over a dozen countries. But her true talent was catching the most crabs in Point Pleasant, NJ.
She is survived by her parents, Elaine Rochelle (Snyder) and Frederick Gaeta, her grandmother, Edith Gaeta, her sisters Jackie Gaeta, and husband Ed Burke, and Danielle Gaeta and husband Kevin Zetterstrom. Her memory will live on with her nieces and nephew Corina, Nina, Evelyn, and Vincent.
Visitation will be Friday July, 28 2023 from 4-8 PM at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Road., Gillette, NJ. A Service will be held Saturday July 29, 2023 at the All Saints Episcopal Church, Millington, NJ at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Stirling, NJ Memorial contributions may be made to Cat's Cradle 122 S. Main St., Harrisonburg, VA 22801.
