Obituary for Eleanor J Zanzonico
Eleanor J. Zanzonico died Saturday October 14, 2023. She was 93.
Eleanor was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 26, 1930, a daughter to the late Olive and Maynard Mitchell.
She worked as a certified nursing assistant for Glenside Nursing Home in New Providence for 25 years, before retiring in 1995.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting and, above all, loved her family.
Eleanor is predeceased by her loving husband, Anthony, her two brothers, and a sister.
She is survived by her two sons, Micheal and his wife Heidi, and Anthony. Her two daughters, Debra and Michele, and her husband Clif. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Glenn, Jessica, Anthony, Alyson, and Caroline, as well as her great-grandchildren, Noah and Caiden.
Visitation will be 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM on Tuesday October 17, 2023 at the Valley memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Road, Gillette, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul RC Church Bebout Ave., Stirling. Burial will be at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.
