Patricia (Horner} Clark passed away at 92 on Friday afternoon, January 5th, 2024.
She was the beloved wife of John "sonny" Clark to whom she was married for 68 years.
Patricia was born and spent her early years in Portland Maine. The daughter of Clifford Jackson and Phebe Horner she moved to Kent Place Blvd in Summit NJ, where they lived for many years. She graduated from Summit High School.
She met and married John Clark and they lived in New Providence, Berkeley Heights, and Millington NJ. After John's death she moved to Brightview Assisted Living in Warren, NJ where she spent her last years.
Patricia was an active and creative woman who had many interests. During the family's boating years she was the navigator and first mate...During the "horse" years she was in charge of the barn and kept things running smoothly. She had a horse which she rode and in addition trained to drive a cart. She later worked in Barbara's Shop in Chester for many years...mastering the cash register. She spent many hours painting furniture for customers. She was a self taught artist and painted in many mediums.
She was an avid reader, loved to cook and eat, and kept a garden.
She leaves her three children Steven G. Clark, Barbara L. Collins, and Martha M. Malavasi; five grandchildren Leigh Ann Panas, Erica Lang, Jennifer Neebling, Trisha Malavasi and John Malavasi; six great grandchildren Matthew Panas, Clark Panas, Stephen Panas. Jackson Lang, Blake Lang.and Holly Malavasi.
