Richard M. Simon died Monday December 12, 2016 in Morristown, NJ. He was 76.
Richard was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 2, 2016 a son to the late Edna (Levine) and Maurice J. Simon. He has lived in Long Hill Two for the last 12 years.
He was a graduate from Johnathan Dayton Regional High School in Springfield, NJ, and was the NJ state champion in wrestling. He was the owner of Sebastian Resourcing Inc. in Manhattan, NY where he worked in Manufacturing.
Richard was a baseball coach, and enjoyed athletics.
He was predeceased by his 2 sons Maxwell in 2006, and Jack in 2012.
He is survived by his wife Susan F. Simon of 20 years, his daughter Madison E. Simon, a son David Simon, a sister Barbara Silverman, and 4 grandchildren Adam, Lauren, Ben and Nate.
Visitation for Richard will be Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 5 - 8 PM at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Christ the King RC Church in Harding, NJ on Friday December 16, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Disposition is private.
