Gloria M. De Sandolo (Di Giambattista) died Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in West Caldwell, NJ. She was 84.
Gloria was born in Jersey City, NJ on October 24, 1933, a daughter to the late Filomena (Trabosi) and Amos Di Giambattista, and has lived in Warren for the last 78 years. Gloria was a graduate from North Plainfield High School and worked as Assistant Manager for Hudson City Savings Bank in Gillette, NJ for over 30 years before retiring in 2003.
She was a member of the Senior Citizens, and was known for her baking skills for local churches, and the VFW. She was an avid reader who enjoyed crossword puzzles. Loving her dogs, she enjoyed watching WWE with her family.
She was pre deceased by her husband Albert C. De Sandolo in 1984, and her son Gordon in 1983.
Gloria is survived by her loving caregivers, son Chip De Sandolo and his wife Donna, as well as sons, Allan and his wife Renet, and Douglas and his wife Elizabeth. her brother Raymond Di Giambattista and his wife Shirley, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren with one on the way, and a special thank you to Amanda, Ryan, Matt, and Mickey for all of their love and support
Visitation will be Friday, October 27, 2017 from 4-7 PM at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ. Cremation is private. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association. For information and online condolences visit valleymemorialfunerlhome.net
