Harry E. Spitzer died November 11, 2017 at his home at Lyons Veterans Home in Lyon, NJ. He was 90.
Harry was born in Newark, NJ a son to the late Regina (Ward) and Harry A. Spitzer.
After High School Harry Joined the army and served at the conclusion of WWII. After the war, he was placed into the Veterans care where he lived since 1948.
He is survived by his sister Karen A. Alworth, 2 nieces Patricia Hubert an her husband Joe, and Margaret Mary Verducci and her husband Anthony, and many other family and Friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday 11:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul RC Church, 250 Bebout Ave., Stirling, NJ. Interment will be at Brigadier General William C.
