Sophie Jakubowski, 86, formerly of Millington and Basking Ridge passed away on Wednesday October 16, 2013 in Morristown, NJ. She was predeceased by her husband Feliks.
Sophie was born in Poland, the daughter of the late Agniszka and Boleslaw Wojnerowicz. She moved to Newark with her husband and family in 1965. Mrs. Jakubowski is survived by her daughter Lidia and her husband Walter Kulak, her son Stefan Jakubowski and his wife Hedy, her brother Henry Wojner and two sisters in Poland. She had four grandchildren Steven, Susan, David and Robert. Services will be Monday October 21, 2013, with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. James RC Church in Basking Ridge at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown, PA. Visitation will be Sunday 4-6 PM at the Funeral Home.
