Obituary for Vito C Armenti

Vito Carmen Armenti died Monday, May 5, 2014 in Morristown, NJ he was 87.
Vito was born in Stirling, NJ, a son to the late Rose (Fernicola) and Peter Armenti, where he was a life long resident.
He was a WWII Army Veteran, and a member of the American Legion post 343 in Stirling, NJ
Vito worked as an entrepreneur owning several gas stations, and automotive repair garage. He retired, but still had daily presence at Valley Automotive in Stirling, NJ.
He was a Life Member of the Stirling Volunteer Fire Company #1 where he served as Assistant Chief. He was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus, and a member of the Stirling Elks.
He was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul RC Church in Stirling.
He was pre-deceased by his wife Lenora "Sis" (DeFilippis) Armenti in 1988, and several siblings.
Vito is survived by his son Guy Armenti and his wife Maryanne, a daughter Joy and her husband Frank Krass, a brother Joseph Armenti, and 4 grandchildren Justin, Ryan, Alexa and Daneille.
Visitation will be Wednesday May 7, 2014 from 1-4 and 6-9 at the Valley memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday May 8, 2014 at St. Vincent de Paul RC Church in Stirling at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Stirling.
