Anthony A. Natelli, Sr. died Thursday December 25, 2014 in Wayne, NJ. He was 94.
Anthony was born in Jersey City on April 17, 1920 a son to the late Josephine (Errico) and Louis Natelli, where he lived until moving to Berkeley Heights in 1970. He retired to his beach home at Chadwick Beach in 1994.
He attended Snyder High School, and served the Army Air Corp from 1942 - 1945 during WWII. He flew as an Aerial Gunner 611 through the Asiatic Pacific Theatre in the 9th Bomb Squadron 7th Bomb Group. Anthony was the Founder and Owner of AA Natelli Realtors, established 1957, Jersey City, NJ where he worked until retiring in 1994.
He served on the Jersey City Planning Board. He was a communicant of the Church of the Little Flower in Berkeley Heights, NJ.
Anthony was pre-deceased by his wife of 44 years, Antoinette (Cerco) Natelli who died in 1992.
He was also predeceased by his two brothers Mario L. and Albert A, and his sisters Catherine and Olga, and survived by his sister, Emily.
He was the loving father to his three sons Louis and Brigida Natelli, Anthony A. Natelli, Gavin and Sharin Natelli, two daughters Janet and Frank J. Kovats, and Cathy and Phil Headland, 13 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday December 28, 2014 from 4 - 7 PM at the funeral home. Services will be Monday December 29, 2014 9:00 AM from the Valley Memorial Funeral Home, 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ followed by a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Church of the Little Flower Plainfield Ave., Berkeley Heights, NJ.
