Ann V. (Gaudjer) Allegra died Sunday February 1, 2015 at McCauley Hall Health Care Center in Watchung, NJ. She was 86.

Ann was born on January 7, 1929, in Long Branch, NJ, a daughter to the late Maria (Mazza) and Albert Gaudjer. She lived in Paterson, Totowa and Oakland NJ before moving to Berkeley Heights in 1971.

She was a graduate of Wayne Valley High School.

She was owner and operator of Sterling Hallmark in Stirling, NJ with her husband Joseph J. Allegra for over 40 years retiring in 2005.
She was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul RC Church in Stirling, NJ where she was a member of their Alter Rosary Guild. She was a volunteer at the Shrine of St. Joseph for the homeless, and a member of the Long Hill Township and Berkeley Heights Township Senior Citizens.

Ann was pre-deceased by her husband Joseph J. Allegra in 1993.

She is survived by 4 sons John J. and his wife Sheryl, Joseph F. and his wife Patricia, Michael and his wife Lynne, and David Allegra, her daughter Marie and her husband Robert Foley, and 11 grandchildren Lauren, Rebeca and her husband Eric Berg, Melissa, Suzanne, Joseph, Ashley, Matthew, Christina, Gabriella, Michael and Olivia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday February 6th, 2015 10:00 AM From St. Vincent de Paul RC Church, Bebout Ave., Stirling, NJ followed by an interment at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Stirling. Visitation will be Thursday 6:30 - 8:30 PM at the Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Valley Memorial Funeral Home, Gillette, NJ.
