Angela A. Anzalone nee:Iorillo died Saturday September 19, 2015 at her home in Stirling, NJ. She was 89.
Angela was born in Flumeri, Italy on January 17, 1926, a daughter to the late Genoveffa (Abbondandolo) and Giuseppe Iorillo, where she lived until immigrating to Stirling, NJ in 1970.
She worked as a machine operator for Engineered Plastics in Stirling, NJ for many years.
Angela enjoyed knitting, gardening, and most especially nurturing family and friends with her fabulous cooking skills, all learned while living in Italy on her family farm,.
She was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul RC Church in Stirling.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Vito Anzalone, her daughter Camilla and her husband Antonio Palumbo, two sons Luigi and his wife Cynthia, and Joe and his wife Maureen. Angela was one of 10 siblings and is survived by a brother Ettore Iorillo of Stirling, and three sisters Carmela Savino, Lina Abbondadolo and Mafalda Guerriero. She was loving grandmother to seven grandchildren Tomasina, Mariangela, Christina, Joseph, Andrew, Giselle and Nicole, and two great grandchildren Isabella and Colin.
Services will be Tuesday, September 22, 2015 9:00 AM at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home; 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul RC Church in Stirling. Committal will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge.
Visitation will be Monday 6-9 pm at the Funeral Home.
