James Eugene Bellew passed away Wednesday August 2nd in Fort Meyers Florida. James was born November 21 1946 in Sterling Colorado to Helen and William Bellew. James grew up in South Plainfield New Jersey where he lived until he entered the Air force. He served and was honorably discharged from United States Air Force as communications specialist. After the Air Force he spent many years involved in auto parts sales until ultimately owning and operating his own auto parts store.
James then worked for Berg store fixtures designing and installing display cases and fixtures for jewelry stores and retailers. He continued his involvement in jewelry sales by designing and maintaining various web sites for jewelry distributors.
Later James was heavily involved with the American legion in Colorado and Florida. He spent many years as a chaplain performing services and memorials for fellow veterans.
James is survived by his daughter Jennifer Campbell her Husband Bradley and his grandchildren Taylor and Drew. Also survived by his brother William Bellew, his sister Joyce Baba and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday September 9, 2017 from 2-4 pm at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ. A Service will begin at 3:30 pm at the Funeral Home.
