Obituary for Helena Rohal (De Marzo)

Helena (De Marzo) Rohal died at her home on Saturday, March 3, 2018. She was 61.

Helena was born in Hillside, NJ, a daughter to the late Concetta (Anicito) and John De Marzo, living in Hillside, Warren, and Piscataway before moving to Stirling in 1998.

She was a graduate of Hillside High School, and St. Elizabeth College.

She worked as a teacher for many years, but devoted her life as a wife and mother. She was so dedicated she home schooled her children.

Helena was a daily communicant of St. Vincent de Paul RC Church in Stirling NJ and was a committed member of Opus Dei, a local and national organization. She also was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul
Rosary Guild and frequented the Shine of St. Joseph in Stirling, NJ.

Helena is survived by her husband George Rohal, 2 sons Joseph and Johnny, a daughter Christina, Helena's father John De Marzo, 2 brothers John De Marzo, Jr., and Dr. Angelo De Marzo and his wife Sandy, a sister Anne De Marzo, a nephew Michael, and a niece Lauren.

Visitation will be Monday March 5, 2018 from 4 - 8 PM at St. Vincent de Paul RC Church, 250 BeBout Ave., Stirling, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday March 6, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the church. Interment will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Stirling. Arrangements are under the direction of the Valley Memorial Funeral Home., Gillette. For more information and online condolences visit valleymemorialfuneralhome.net.
